Susan discussed the Continental Army Encampment at Valley Forge from December 19, 1777 to June 19, 1778--waiting until better weather to engage the British. What makes this period of the Revolutionary War so well remembered, despite there being no battle there? We learned about the six months that changed the army for the better.
